These are a few words I was going to say at your funeral though on the day I did not say them so here they are now ..... Corey Moore Well what can i say that allof you here don't know, not much at all I assume. Corey was a young man that gave us all fun and games, good times and some that were a little harder to get through ,though with all of this there is one thing that stands out for me and that is if he was your friend he was your Friend I came to know Corey several years ago when I would see him around the town when most of the kids would be at school, and he always had a hello to me and have you seen, who ever it was he was hoping to run into that day. Corey was regularly building his own bikes up from bits and pieces and he would bring them around to my house to show them off to Kym and I with quiet alot of pride, me being an old girl I really didn't understand the building and styles of bikes he built but the pride he showed in them was very real. Then if it wasn't bikes it was skateboarding around the streets and in the concrete drains aroundthe town. I seem to remember seeing some safety bars removed from one particular walkway bridge missing one day and our young man skating away quiet happily. They called that area The Box ...Our Corey promised me the bar would go back on when they were finished but I can't say truely if it did and no one ever really said who took the bars off, but I have my suspicions. And the box was used for quiet a time to my knowledge. After sometime all these kids were sick of trying to amuse themselves in gutters and in the streets with their skate boards, and say we need a Skate Park so Corey and a close group of friends, Lochlan,Brendan, Kym, Neil and of course his Brother and best Friend Aaron in particular, and several others went around the town to get signitures on a petition to present to the councilto get a Skate Park in Wyreema. Council approved the skate park and then Corey and the group of friends designed that Skate Park in Wyreema with the assistance of Stacey Dennis...a skate park designer. So Thank You Corey and friends for the Skate Park. On a personel note I remember when I flooded my whole house with water from a broken hose in my washing machine and who was amongst the helpers that stayed until all the work was done Corey and he was very helpful in calming the old lady down from my little emotional breakdown that I was having ....Thank You Corey . Kym had 11 unexplained days off school last year which I was not happy about. I found out this week that I can thank Corey for taking good care of her on those days, mostly at Picnic Point playing ,yes I'm told playing in the park up there, so Thank You Corey for looking after her. You and Kym had the same Love of School. I also found out about the time he climbed into her bedroom window because he wanted to stay over and did not want to me up and since her window was opened in he came, frightening the hell out of her and her partner Anthony, he found a bed in the spare room. I had no idea about the window part of the night though . In amongst all this are the chats we had about Pigging, and Pig Dogs, Roo Shooting, Cars, Motor Bikes,to name a few all of which I don't do and know anything about, but we had good chats Thank You for including me in this part of your life. Then there was the Chats about Girls some of them were Interesting Stories. Last of all there were the conversations about how he Loved his Pop and how he was going to miss him after he was gone. Well Mate You and He are in Eternal Life together now.I am sure your Pop would have wanted to see you there much further in the futurethough. I know he will take care of you until we all run into each other at another time. Thank You Corey for including us all in your life, we will miss you and remember you with nothing but good thoughts in the future Until next time. Good Bye Mate We All Love You and Will Miss You !
